I searched for a thread specifically on this Ebay SMIM made by Fast Fantasies but somehow it leads to a discussion on Motoria, bulldog or some other brand. I am partically interested in this peice.

I know Magnus, JMF, AMS make tried and proven manifolds..but some companies have to start somewhere and I am sure that other well know companies had their share of trial and errors.

So if we could please limit your replys of comments to this Intake manifold..

Who has them?
Quality?
Changes in HP or Throttle response?
Warranties?
Customer Service?

My opinion:
The manifold looks like a quality peice and for the price it seems like a good buy. They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns and stand by their product. although they dyno this manifold themselves I would like to see others who have this manifold speak up and share thier experiences. Even though they are not as popular as Magnus or JMF I am going to purchase one. I feel some companies need a chance for their product to be exposed to really stand out. I am willing to give them a chance

Why dont you buy a used Magnus and get something thats known to work? A used magnus is around that price, im selling mine for the same damn price.

It looks quality, but it looks like the magnus design where they would break the welds... I dunno, your in Germany, I guess its harder to get the used stuff as it is here in US.

I can see two problems with the manifold, theres no taper in the runners and no radius from the manifold to the runners. You don't have to be a fluid dynamics engineer to figure out this creat's all kinds of turbulance and air flow will suffer. And who runs an 18g turbo? Also with no dyno sheet I can safely say low end power suffered badly.

The manifold looks almost like a Magnus manifold. The only prominant differences I can see are the velocity stacks and the plenum is a bit different. I'm sure you'll see gains from it over the factory manifolds, but velocity stacks really are the bread and butter for SMIMs. As for the quality, who knows. I do remember seeing a few threads about some SMIMs practically blowing up. Although I haven't seen many lately.

I know magnus makes a good manifold that has been know to provide result and in some cases crack. I am going to give a new company a chance. if it works it works if not then at least i gave him the opportunity to prove his work.

The problem is Magnus is a known company and Fast Fantisies is new. yeah their manifold
may look like a magnus but so does the JMF manifold. there are alot of people who just jump on the band wagon and feel that Magnus is the only way to go but a new product deserves a shot.

I am partically interested in this manifold. I know there are several members on this forum that have or had experience with this manifold. Speak up share your experience good or bad

I understand too that companies have to start somwhere. But usually in the dsm community these companies post there product on the forums to let everyone know about it. That way if there where any questions or flaws found (which someone will always find one) they can be addressed before the first batch gets shipped out.

I already purchased one so i will give them a chance. no second thoughts here. I just want to know if anyone else has valid information on this manifold that will help others besides myself in the future.
