there's this guy on a local car site who keeps claiming that aftermarket air intakes/filters are obsolete on dsm's namely 1g, he's saying that my hks powerflow intake is worthless compared to the stock air can. Please help me prove to him that they are useful, dyno sheets would be amazing too! Thanks
 
How on earth can someone even say an aftermarket intake is garbage. Compaired to the stock aircan which has that dumb honeycomb inside of it, basically its night and day comparison. Whoever told you that the stock aircan is better, should retire himself from working on cars for the rest of his life.
 
thanks guys, he's a cool guy, but he just was doubting that they are that usefull. I tried telling him that the mods on a dsm (esp. in stage 1) go hand in hand, exhaust and boost aren't 98% of the power adders, as you first must have enough fuel and air flowing to raise the boost for the power...
