Ok I have been looking at clutches and have narrowed it down to a few companies.

First choice being a spec clutch stage 3. With a torque rating of 415 with a 6 puck or 4 puck style.

Or my second choice being a fidanza 4.3 or 3.2 clutch kit. With a 6 puck style disk to.

Or should i just get an ACT"the tryed and proven" clutch?

And all of the above are with 25 bucks of eachother with ACT being a hundred bucks more.

All this to go with a fidanza lightweight flywheel as well.

I don't want a clutch that I am going to have to replace in 6 months either that is why I am going with something bigger now. But also best bang for the buck.:talon:

I am proven fan of the ACT 2100 on a DD, good to play on the weekends but won't kill your leg in traffic...BUT it will hold up fine at the track on weekends..check the specs on that one and see if it fits your goal

ACT is recommend. It's been the most reliable, and affordable Clutch kit for us.
It's the only clutch I've ever run on my dsm's, as well as the other dsmr's I know. I've heard many horror stories about other brands, I dont think dsm's like anything else.
Being AWD, You'll probably want to go with the ACT2600 kit to avoid future replacement.

i like my set up act 2600 and mitsu stock full face disk it holds power and is still very streetable you might regret the 4 or 6 puck depending on how much traffic you will be sitting in

ACT 2600 for sure...best clutch that sits in the healthy medium of street/race balance. All the talk of it killing your leg in traffic or whatnot else, I disagree with. Yes, it is noticeable if you're jumping out of a car with a factory clutch...but you will adapt to it, and appreciate its resistance after a while. The thing will probably last you as long as you have your car, engage like butter, and if it's really that hard on your leg, maybe it'll beef up your chicken leg too! It's like going from with training wheels to without...sure it's tough at first, but I don't see any debate as far as deciding whether you want them or not.

My car wiLOL mostly be daily driven but it will see the track at least once a month. Just what gets me is the talk of springs popping out after very few miles on some peoples disc. Also the talk of it being hard on the crank somewhat scares me as well.:talon:

imo like a few stated here all depends on if itsjust your track car or also your daily driver, if you arent making serious power for a while driving all the time and still wanna tune and track it, act2100 simply proven to be outstanding. Id go with that, plus its not too bad on the wallet to be honest

I have been using Center Force DF with factory lighten flywheel for about 4 years now, which I purchaced from RRE. I deal with Seattle rush hour traffic everyday, my left leg muscle is not bigger than my right leg. ;)

I now there is a bad rep from them but this is from personal experience. I ran an xtd stage 4 with a 6 puck disk in a fwd car and loved it. Cost 150 new and we took it out after being in a few thousand miles because the engine spun a bearing and the clutch really had no wear on it, besides a few mild burn marks but brake cleaner helped clear it up. Its gonna be used again and we did some hard launches with it, not to mention bouncing off the rev limiter a few times.
