I searched and I've read the idle help thing. I still am not able to get mine to stop surging and it's warm or cold that it does it. I've fixed all vac leaks, replaced the tps, idle switch, blocked egr, replaced iac, and I've fully cleaned the TB and made sure the butterfly valve was closing all the way. I've switched ECU's with a known good one and I still haven't had any luck. Please help as it's a horrible surge.

even though yo uknow its a good ecu-is it the correct one?

yep it's an oem one from a 91 mitsu, the rear end got wrecked so he parted the car and we put it in mine and it worked great in his car. Also kept my old one just in case.

yeah after i drive for a while and my car is warm my idle jumps up to between 2,000-3,000 rpms and stays there. anyone have this problem or can help me fix it because its really annoying...i think its the gas peddle cable or somthin ### if i put the car in 1st and use no gas and take out the clutch the car moves forward by itself and ill shift and take both feet off again...ive done this on a flat surface and my car goes about 25 without me touching anything but the wheel...it acts like an automatic but my car is a 5sp.

Check your resistance on your "new" wires because I bought "new wires" then checked the resistance on them and found out they weren't up to the ohms they were supposed to be. I guess some A$$bag must of taken the new and put the old in the box and returned them. After that, I got new ones and the idle surges and misfiring went away.

It was the same with my old and new wires. i've had this issue for a while and just started putting parts into it trying to fix it but I'm at a lost now.
