boost help

Well I have done all of the free mods that I can do from the forums and I also have a greddy bov megan downpipe and exhast. i spike at 16pounds at about 95mph but it has a real bad sputter like it holds back alot and bangs around but on the other hand when it catches it halls ass what should i do. Will a fuel pump or injectors help this? Thanks for the help.

What does your boost hold at? Are you getting hesitation and if so is this just at high rpms?

I think this would be maintence issue. Boost leak or spark issue.

I agree, Have you changed your plugs and wires how many miles are on your car. I would start with a full tune up for your car. What does it feel like at 95 when you said it hesitates.

it kinda like the car puts to the spiked boost usually its at around 10 or 15 puonds is when it starts putting but very rarely it jumps to the boost smoothly. but when it hits max boost around 13 to 16 it does not drop. Also when Im just at a light and I just run it hard through the gears it does it too so its not only on the highway, It just does it way more when im on the highway. thanks for the help.

Do you have a logger? What are the plugs gapped at? Have you turned boost down and see if it fix's it? I would take the mbc off and see if it still does it.

I dont know if im hitting fuel cut maybe i am it keeps going thougt its still butting so i dont know help me out, and theres about 148000 on the car it getting old, if its the spark plugs what kind should i get and should i get. Also I have huge wires that came with the car there type r, there pretty thick should i have to change them too if there aftermarket already?

You should not be able to steadly hold over 12 psi boost without a mbc. Might have issues with your wastegate and a big boost leak.

Replace your spark plugs with NGK's. Be sure to gap them properly. Next see why your are running such high boost. Make a boost leak tester and check for leaks.
