I just bought a new 91 turbo talon. It was once a auto but from prev owner said that it was converted. I drove it home and stopped at a rest stop and got in and wouldnt go into reverse. Looked under the car and the tranny fluid was pouring out. I have no idea what happen got it into third got it home and now it is no longer leaking (###### ### its out of fluid now) but it is stuck in third and the shifter is like its in neutral. The shifter wont go to the left side (1st and 2nd) but it will jiggle around third 4th and 5th. WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!

So do you have a N/T or a turbo? Your name and your words arent matching.

About the car, where was it leaking from? (big hole, gasket, fill plug, etc) No fluid = a mad transmission. Sounds like a shift fork by the way you say the shifter moves around. But it could be something as simple as your linkage.
