Well I rebuilt my 4g15, and put in the 4g37 ecu, injectors, maf, and tb. I have been running RICH! I got some codes, ISC motor, and O2 sensor. I was examining the differances between the actual wiring from 4g15 and the 4g37 and the 37 uses a 2 wire o2 sensor, and the 15 doesn't. The second wire that I'm missing goes to the ISC motor/MAF. Would it work if I got the 2 wire sensor and added my missing wire? or should I swap ECUs back? To give you and idea i was getting 30-32mpg before the rebuild/swap 37 parts, and first fill up after the rebuild I'm down to 16mpg :(

Something else I was just thinking about, would you fry an O2 sensor by applying voltage to it? I've been looking back and forth at these 2 wiring diagrams...and the second wire is just a sensor ground, the one wire sensor just ground itself out to the pipe. When I ran the harness, when I first assembled the engine, it wouldn't start. I had the starter plug going to the O2 sensor, and the sensor plug going to the starter, opps. But would voltage make it go bad? Maybe its just bad and has nothing to do w/ it being a 2 wire or not.

Try replacing the old one first, it could just be a bad o2 sensor. If the new sensor goes bad u know it could be a voltage problem then.
