external wastegate install

im currently installing my external wastegate that is run off of the o2 housing. do i need to connect a line to the top nipple or just let it release to atmosphere? i have an electronic boost controller and i saw that it might be different in this case. also, do i leave the valve seat on or take it out? it seems to not mount up very well with it in? thanks for the help.

As far as the line goes you have to connect it to a vacume source. closer to the compressor housing the better.
