I am in the market for a 2.3 stroker - I am on a budget. I have all supporting mods, etc. I have been looking at ebay stroker kits: http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=4g63+stroker&category0=

Does anyone have any advice for this? What else would I need to have this work? I have all supporting mods, a machine shop ligned up, etc. What other parts would I need, and are those stroker kits the best bang for the buck? Thanks in advance for your info

You can start here:

I have the Jackson stroker motor (Wiseco/Eagle) in my car and am very happy with it. You can probably use those kits as a parts list and buy all the stuff separately if you wanted. Give those places a call and get a feel for their service. See who you feel most comfortable with, and obviously, make sure they can meet your budget. I'm not sure what the kits come with but you'll find out when you call. Check the details - for example, I would prefer a kit that's balanced as a full assembly. I know FFWD cryo treats their kits. Talk to people who have bought each kit and see what they think.

Aside from the kit you'll really only need all the other wear stuff you'd need for any regular engine build - gaskets, timing belt parts, etc.
