white smoke coming form exhaust and dip stick

ok as the title says i have white smoke in two places i was told i would be ok if i use the stop leak stuff for a little bit is that a no no before i do that i have a 99% feeling its my head gasket.. what do u think..

does the coolant overflow tank ever boil over?

You can be sure that it is a blown head gasket by starting it while it is cold with the coolant cap off, look for tiny bubbles coming up to the surface. This is compression entering the coolant.

could this be rings? ### mine would just smoke out the exhaust not the dipstick thou and i did a comperssion test and decided that my rings were bad.....pulled the motor but haven't taken the head off yet.
