I would post this is the 420a turbo conversion forum but I don't have enough posts so here we go. A little about me since its one of my first few posts. I guess I could still be considered a noob with cars but I have more knowledge than your average person and if it means anything, I rebuilt my enitre front right suspension (strut, strut fork, spindle, hub, both lower control rods, and tie rods) myself after an accident so I am capable of doing the work and learning how to do the work. Anyways, I have a 97 GS and I am getting ready to turbo the car. I currently have a t25 and knock off greddy RS BOV at the house that I got whenever I got rid of my old rims. I would rather use a t3/t4 turbo because of more aftermarket support with parts and flanges, etc. I ran across this turbo kit other day and figured it was decent price and I have heard good stuff about the company especially when it comes to their manifolds, specifically for the 420a turbo conversion application. I was going to follow GSGoinFast's build thread

that he did with his car for mine but after finding this kit, I liked it a little better. I am all up for making my own parts and saving money, I like that kinda stuff, but I also don't have much time on my hands by the end of the day and I would rather spend a little more money to have somebody "assemble" a kit for me. I know this kit doesn't include anything like a fuel pump, bigger injectors, FMU, or any kind of tuning equipment, and I would still need those. Basically, my project goals is to run low boost, 7psi max, and have it daily driveable reliable. Although I do have access to a back up car I would prefer to avoid that situation if possible. So what would the best route to take (yes I know that is an opinion question, so don't post unless you have something worth saying, not the BS like "well its your own choice you are going to get a bunch of answers so..." I hate that BS on forums, people are just so stupid sometimes, anyways off my soapbox). I guess what I'm looking at is the absolute cheapest way to go, which I would assume be GSGoinFast's way, and the more organized version of putting together a kit. Like I said I don't mind spending a little more (like a few hundred or so) to not have to hunt down all of those "other" parts. I want to be able to go to the garage and start work and make the least amount of trips to the auto store. Also is there a detailed list, I mean down to bolt sizes and quantity, of parts needed for this conversion. What gaskets need to be replaced, what fluids will be needed, and any other odds and ends. I just want the least amount of suprises as possible. Also once the turbo kit is installed (only half of the project) what would the next best step and cheapest step would be for tuning. Yes I did search and I found numerous information about different systems but didn't find the exact answers I wanted. Yes most searches yield the answers you need but sometimes you just get a bunch of opinions so I guess the more opinions I can get, the better. There is a lot of stuff out there on turboed 420a's but not much on somebody actually saying this is how it is done (other than GSGoinFast's thread which was great but still left more to be desired). I'm not so much looking for a step by step answer (although that's nice) because it differs person to person and parts used but more of where to start and where to get the parts, I mean all of them. My budget is $1500 for a completly turboed car, some tuning, etc, but would prefer to keep it around $1000 and I don't mind using the t25 since I already have it, I just haven't seen it done much. My goal is to document from start to finish a turbo conversion for a 420a that is cost effective and can answer most of the unanswered questions out there. However I need you guy's help on it because I'm a noob and I want to be able to help other noobs in the same situation, so with that said, let's begin...
