Ok im new to all this stuff and I was wondering if you can somehow make your stock BOV/Waistgate sqeek when shifting. Someone told me to drill a hole somewhere but i dont know if i can trust them. let me know thanks

Are you talking about the loud annoying(my opinion) Rally Race Bov noise?? If so the only way to do it is buy a maf-translator with a gm maf. This will allow you to run the bov to the atmosphere for that loud cool noise.

Dont drill a hole in the recirculation tube because you will pull in unmetered air.

You don't necessarily need to vent to atmosphere to hear the "whoosh" sound of air being released from your intake tract when you shift. It's generally not recommended for optimum performance/smooth running. But just removing your factory airbox and using a cone style air filter will allow you to hear some of the venting sound. I am running stock MAS with recirculated bov and hear plenty of the sound you want. Not sure exactly where you would drill the hole you are referring to but I would recommend staying away from that.

you say put a cone airfilter on...where LOL there really isnt a spot to do that. Unless im missing something because you need to keep the MAS as far as i know right?

To install a cone airfilter you must first get an adapter which goes on the MAS and converts the mounting point so that you can attach a cone filter.

silly of coarse you need your MAS!! nah man its really easy take out your stock airbox then buy a K&N filter usually $35 and it clamps right before the MAS. you will need a clamp though to connect the filter to where the MAS is......the bad thin is that when you do this the whole thing will be kinda loose but thats why zipy ties were invented right ;)

is there any way you could post a pic that will help explain that. Im confused and i know its probably something really easy and im gunna feel dumb.

Hey, it's alright dude... Just go look at engine shots @ the gallery. It's only a couple clicks away, and you'll understand what everyone is talkinga bout. All it will do is increase the airflow into your turbo, making it spool up a little faster. That way, when you shift, you might have a higher boost rating. Look into chcekin for boost leaks and exhaust leaks. Preventative Maintainence first!

Howei~
