Such a thing as a cheap, but good quality, master cylinder?

I have a 4 month old Master Cylinder for my '98 GSX and the clutch engagement point is floating and I'm losing clutch fluid from the master cylinder itself.

Any recommendations? I'm trying to buy cheap while not getting another part that fails before it reasonably should.

I just feel $75 bucks is a lot for this device.
Opinions?

Why not just go OEM and not have to worry if it fails too soon?
They only cost around $80.
You could also get a repair kit for the master cyl. instead of buying a new one.
What do you mean clutch engagement is floating, you like mean pedal pump?

i paid 47 dollars getting a master cylinder from pep boys and installed it myself like three days ago. Mines leaked all the fluid out and I could'nt put it into gear and my clutch engagement was way out of wack. Its not hard to install. Bleeding it correctly takes some time though.

I'm curently running an autozone part. I hate it. It failed before 4 months of use.
I'll just bite the bullet and buy the OEM Nabco part. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of a good quality part that was under $75.
Thanks.
