What are all the three hoses that come from the intake pipe? I know the big hole is the dump tube. The second goes to the top of the valve cover. The third goes to something under the battery? What does this hose do?

that would be for the charcoal canister. Just emissions stuff, you dont have to have it connected to the intake, in case your were wondering.

But if you remove the charcoal canister line from the intake pipe, you have to cap the intake pipe, or you'll suck in unmetered air through that hole and run lean. Word on the street is that the charcoal cansiter doesn't hurt anything (performance-wise), so leaving it in place is fine, too.

But if you remove the charcoal canister line from the intake pipe, you have to cap the intake pipe,

Exactly, I forgot to mention that (obvious to me but I forget others dont always know)

You have to plug any holes in the intake pipe when you disconnect one of the lines

So basically disconnect disconnect the charcoal canister and leave it plugged in though? I don't have to cap the canister off? The hole to the air intake will be removed since i'm getting a hard pipe. Just wanted to know before I do any ordering. BTW, the bov tube I don't use right now. I can't remember if i'm going to need it with a recirc. bov?

do a search on here on removing emission/vacum lines. That will explain to you what those 3 hoses on the throttle body are. (if thats what you are talking about. The ones on the intake pipe, one goes to the canister, one goes to the valve cover.

"The hole to the air intake will be removed since i'm getting a hard pipe."

Not all hard pipes eliminate these hoses. I use a Dejon intake pipe, and I ordered it with all the original breather fittings so that I could leave everything connected as stock. And definitely recirculate the bov.
