Power Steering Differences?

Hello first off this is my first post and I have been a member for over a year and have just searched to find everything I have ever needed. However this time I must ask a question. My Brother just bought a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWd and has a leak coming from the power steering rack. I am just going to opt to replace the whole thing. The problem is that when i searched autozone/advance auto parts online catalog and im getting different part numbers for 90 talons and 91 talons, different part numbers for fwd and awd. Different part numbers for power steering racks all the way through the first gens awd and fwd. The reason why im wondering if there are any differences because the 91 rack for an awd is like 200 dollars cheaper and an awd rack for a 92 talon is even cheaper than that. Can anyone confirm that there is no difference between racks in first gens or in 90 talons? I have tried to do a search and have not found any answers specifically with 90 talons. I just dont want to order the wrong part and then have them complain if i have to take it back. I have searched so please dont flame me. I would really appriciate any help in this matter.

I am not sure if FWD or AWD racks are different but as long as the rack is for an AWD you are set. Make sure you get your car aligned after you install the new rack.

Okay thank you very much will be ordering the AWD 1992 power steering rack since its only $169.88 from advanced with a 124.99 core charge. They are trying to charge 300 for the 1990 talon power steering rack, strange? I will be sure to get it alligned after doing it thank you very much for the helpful reply. Talked to Gary from mitsubishi graveyard and he also confirmed that they are the same.

The part number in my catalog for yours is 8256. Which works for 90 fwd and awd, 91-92 fwd, and 93-94 manual trans cars. Dont pay any attention to my part number it just help me list everything. But all of those options use the same rack.
