I really cant make up my mind on which setup I should go with. I dont really have a hp number, just want it to be a really fast street car. I could stick with the 2.0 and get a fp 3052 or go with a 2.3 stroker and jump up to the fp 3065. People who run these setups, what do you think ? Will spool up times be similar on both setups ?

edit- I just looked at the title, I know it doesnt make sense but I cant change it now.

anybody run one of those setups? Can you give me your impressions on it.
Thanks

I'm not running on either setup, but a streetcar setup is for everyday ass whooping. I would take a 2.3L and use the smallest turbo you can live with. Anything with more torque is going to make for a more enjoyable street car. I have a 2.0L BUILT with a frank 5 and it still leaves alot to be desired. Go with the torque and spool of a smaller turbo and make fun of the C5's out there. Also, if you go with the larger turbo setups, get someone to fab up a thermal expansion chamber for your turbo, anywhere from 18 to 24 inches out of the turbo...makes a huge difference in spool and power.

cheers.

cheers.

You do not want a small turbo on a 2.3L. You want a huge turbo. Also you need to make a goal. You say you want a real fast car but what is fast to you. 13's 12's 11's, you need to make a realistic goal and stick to it.

ok, goals are low 11's. So far im leaning torwards the 2.3 and fp 3065. Anyone running this setup ? Do YOU think its streetable ? When do you hit full spool ? and can someone give me more info on the "expansion chamber"
