Chris,
There is not a quick fix for crankwalk.
What i am doing with my 7BOLT is having the line bore checked, I have arp the mains.
and putting a 7BOLT 2.4l crank with forged stroker pistons and forged rods.
we have been looking at the oil squirter's and i think I'm just going to plug them off. this will keep more of an oil bed on the crank mains. not sure if this will help.

I have read that the oil squirters are suspect to cause crankwalk. I read an article that said they get stuck open and this is the problem. The shop that wrote this article said that they plug them off on every 7 bolt rebuild that they do. I would go ahead, might help cant hurt.

I know the supra's have a fix for there crankwalk problem. Yea yea we are not the only ones.

There is nothing we can do to fix the problem. A lot of people have tried different things but know one knows for sure if it fix's the problem because the chance's of crankwalk are minimal. Its overrated.

Also I think its a good idea to stay with the 7 bolt. My mechanic has built more strokers than he can count and has had a few 6 bolt strokers fail at the crank. It has a weak spot compared to the 6 bolt.

He feels so confident with his 7 bolts he gives a lifetime warranty against crankwalk. He is selling his 2.3 6 bolt longblock that ran a 10 on street tires up here in the rocky mountain air, just to build a 7 bolt 2.4 that he says can handle higher revs.
