running lean?

ok so when i'm in 2nd gear, around 4.5 to about 5.5 rpms my car seems like its not boosting as much, i'm pushing 15 psi on a 16g with stock fuel. it just wont pull as hard around those rpms, do you think it could be running lean? i'm pretty sure that i dont have any boost leaks

could rather be a boost leak since you hit harder boost with more load on the motor. do you have an aftermarket gauge to tell?

yeah mine is aftermarket, i hit 15 and it drops to about 13.5/14, but it doesnt feel like its a boost leak, feels more like the motor, cant really explain it too well, it just doesnt wanna pull as hard at those rpm points

TIMING PULL. Do you have a logger? Im guessing you are getting detonation and the motor is pulling the timing making it feel sluggish since its running lean. Log it and see whats going on, if you dont have one then buy one. Set the boost to about 12 and see if it goes away.

yeah i dont have a logger, money's really tight right now ### i wrecked it last may so i'm still paying that off, and i've decided to save up for a new car but if i do decide to go any further with it first thing i'll buy is a logger for sure, but for now i'll be lowering the boost, thanx guys
