T88H Turbo

Whats this turbo worth? Will it bolt to a dsm? Kid here in town has one that was never run and says its a MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries). The numbers on it are TD08H-20M or greddy equivalant T88H. Can pick it up for $200 is that a steal?

The Greddy T88 is a big turbo. Huge. But, 200. And it has never been used. Man, jump on that deal. Like a Fat a woman in a buffet.

Even if it did bolt up there is no way in hell you'll be able to spool it. If it's real, which I doubt it is, then $200 is a steal.

some money but man putting a t88 on a dsm is like putting an automatic tranny in an ITR, you just don't do it. There'd be almost no damn way in hell you'd be able to spool it on a stock dsm unless you had a 200 shot...

T88's are more suitable for Supra's, SR20's that are winding out to almost 9k and other big displacement engines...Oh and a lot of Mustangs use 88's

^^^^ You do realize that SR20's are 2.0L just like the 4g63's right? And that the 4g63's can rev to 9k with some head work and a good tranny. Just thought I would point that out since it was kinda contradicting. .

But anyways, back on topic, I would just buy it and resell it plain and simple. Use the profit to buy a really nice turbo that you can actually use.

That would be the one. But hes local and I can see it with my own eyes and everything. I have not yet. Was just seeing what its worth. Since its not very good for a talon.

T88 made 800 or so whp on an mr2 3sgte 2.0 I've seen some dsmers running t88's. It is for the big boys. If you don't know what it is then obviously you shouldn't even think about running it. Just get a 16g or something. If it was real the turbo would be worth buying just to resale, but odds are if its real something is wrong with it or he stole it ### 200 is way to cheap.
