Ok, I screached and read all topics on this subject but, what I would like to know is how good is using the multi grounding set-up??? Is it even worth doing?

This has come up alot lately. If you read through some of the stuff you could tell that it was up to personal opinion. Our cars came well grounded from the factory. Then again if any of the grounds are old and faulty it will be useful. If your grounds are bad and you do install one it may help you mpg, idle, and may free up a couple of ponies ( possibly¿). It doesn't hurt anything so it's all personal opinion on the matter. :)

I was at walmart getting motor oil and walked by their wall-o-scoche car stereo stuff. They had new battery terminals for $7 dollars each. After finagling with it a while I ended up replacing the short ground on my 1g(bolts to the firewall) but changed out my old connectors for the new ones. The interior lights are brighter now and don't dim at idle anymore. Not sure if it was the ground or eliminating the corrosion on the old positive terminal but it was worth it for me. I don't imagine there will be much more improvement by adding more grounds beyond what I changed, but if your old ones are going out you will definitely notice an improvement.

The theory is that by grounding multiple points on the motor it makes the sensors more accurate, because they all have the same ground potential. from a electrical standpoint it makes sense. How much are you going to gain. ????? Who knows but I would not expects alot mabey a couple of hp. One of the things that helps most (that I noticed) is to change the alternator wire to 4awg to the battery. Use 4awg to ground the motor, and to the chassis. I did run 2 extra grounds (just b/c I had the wire) But it helped my lights and stereo alot.
