Hey whats up, I have a 2g Spyder w/ 5 speed with an EVO3 16g turbo, Dtec fuel controller, Walbro 190, and supporting mods.
A couple months ago i started hearing a suddle but audible noise coming from somewhere in my driveline. The sound was similar to the sound of a baseball card in a bicycle spoke. About a week after i started hearing this sound i was transporting the car from my apartment back to my parents garage and all of a sudden i heard a snapping/popping noise and then the suddle sound(baseball card-bicycle spoke) turned into a very apparent rattling/banging/clanging noise during acceleration and deceleration.(Hope you still follow me) The general concensus is that most likely my differential broke.
I want to replace the stock differential with a new Quaife LSD. Now what I really need to know is should I replace/beef up the clutch and/or flywheel also? I had a new clutch put in from a local dealer about 8 months ago, would a stronger clutch help the reliability of the set up. I need to find the best setup for reliability and maybe with a lil' luck affordability :) Any suggestions would be great. :dsm:

so far everything has checked out... joints and shafts seemed fine too... and no there was no wheel hop when any of this happened...
