help deciding between two turbos...

hey guys.. i got a 95 tsi awd. trying to decide what to do. first off all i really want is around 300 fly hp. to run about low 13's ill be happy with. i have a small16g now (but not installed) or i was looking at a used FPBt28 for sale. (for liek 400 bucks) w/ around 20k on it. I have a 1g j pipe already and the small16g thats all. (i have read the hombrew install article. it looks liek i just need the oil feed line...) just didnt know if it was a pita. i was worried about wrecking my oil feed line where you unscrew the old one. but i guess i can just soak it in wd40. i already have had the t25 turbo off so those bolts arnt rusted on. im also worried about the coolant line part. how hard is it to bend em? the s16g has about 100 miles on it. whats your ideas? sell the 16g for the t28 or just do the install? my plans for the car are liek i said before low13's high 12's, i have a 3in DP and planning on getting bushcar 2.5 cat back (might try to trade my 3in DP for 2.5 if someone wants to! not even 5 miles on it tuningpros) getting a 190 pump, alky injection, and about 17 or 18 psi.. whats the best bet? thanks for reading!!!

if ## goal is 300hp the 16g is ok. u will also need something to tune it with like afc or dsmlink.

You should beable to get close to 300 wheel horse power with your current turbo. Spend the money on supporting mods.

yea i was thinking of just keeping the 16g but how is the install pita?

A 16G install is not really very complicated. If you read the tech articles than you know what is involved. If you are good with a wrench then you should be able to handle it. If you are worried about bending the lines by hand then you can go to the local parts store and buy a small tubing bender for $10. Your 16G should be enough for your goals. Use the money you were going to spend on the T28 elsewhere from some fuel management.

Its a stock replacement, so if you have some auto motice know how than it wont be hard at all.
