ok yesterday morning I was doing some work on the car. I noticed that I have major exhaust leaks a little before the rear O2 sensor and then behind it too.

Should I worry about fixing them or will it not affect performance.

could that bee why my logger reads really low for the rear oxygen sensor ?

A/F guage reads lean till I go WOT, never did that before I installed the 3" Turbo back. Could it be cause of the exhaust leaks before the and after the rear O2 sensor?

Thanks.

Ps: I know A/F guage is just a light show. But since I have it in there I wanted it to work properly again. Both O2 sensors are new.

Your second o2 sensor is just a dummy sensor it is pretty much pointless, the ecu deicdes its a/f ratio through the first one. It could be the reason for your lean readings but it should not affect performance.

I also read that you say your a/f gauge is a light show so I am assuming its a narrowband. That thing is pointless, no point to have it in there. Whatever readings you get from it are pointless, I have had one hooked up in my car and I do not even now how you can say it reads a lean mixture because it acts so crazy.

Exxhaust leaks are never good for performance. You should fix it if possible. Do you have a cat or test pipe? It sounds like it might be leaking from the flanges there and just need a gasket or tightening.

It's not a critical issue, but fixing it would be smart.

no flanges. all welded together. I have a high flow cat and right after the cat there is a leak, its right before the sensor. Then there is another leak after the sensor.

I'll have to fix them soon here.
