Ok, I did some searching and I saw the infamous "Lets talk fmic's." Well, I didn't get my question answered quickly. I actually have been searching on which size intercooler is best for the 1g while still retaining the stock fog lights. I'd like to compile a thread on which fmic fit your body style and what did you have to cut? Did you retain the stock fog lights? Any bumper modifications. Which way did you route your intercooler piping. Still have the factory crash bar?

This way when people search for best possible ways to build an intercooler setup, they have an indefinate thread to goto. Just like the "Lets talk fmic" thread. That is....if they search. I'm a big fan....ARE YOU!?

Btw....I'm looking to mount a 24-28"x6-7.5"x2.5-3.5"

I've had both the buschur racing and the core that Forced Performance use to sell and they both fit fine. The FP core did require me to cut the front bumper support but it wasn't that hard to do. If you are that worried about safety then you might want to go with a smaller core like the Street Core from SBR or the Buschur kit. You should be able to retain your fog lights with both of the street kits and still have a core that will make big power.

I was looking for something a bit more economical so heres what I was thniking....

Since the end tanks on that core point outwards instead of back like most 1G cores that is probably going to interfer with your fog lights. You may be able to sqeeze the pipes in there with a 90* bend but it will be close.

"This Intercooler are made of Very Condense Core with Fine Aluminum Coil Fins to Increase Cooling Effect than Conventional Factory Intercoolers "

Not for sure what that means but it is probably just a tube and fin core so it is just going to be a medeocre (spelling???) intercooler. It's not that bad for the price though. After buying all the piping and the couplers/clamps you are probably just looking at around 300 bucks for the hole kit. Definately a bargain.
