finally got some logging software to work on the palm. Either way some things I noticed and figured I'd post on here to see what some of you think.

coolant temp stays at about 99 when going 65.
Oxygen sensor1 show 600+ when just crusing at 65.Oxygen sensor2 shows like 40-60 at crusing. Both new sensors. But do those reading seem off?

low and high fuel trims I think it is stay pretty much at 0 at crusing. Thoughts?

wheel speed if very off, I was going 65-70 and the logger said I was going 112. I guess one of my wheel speed sensors are bad, could that be while the abs/SRS system has a check engine light on?

Still looking at the rest of the stuff and getting use too it.

I am using http://www.qcontinuum.org/obdgauge/ , I loaded the tunerstein as well, but i havent figured out how to get to show things while Im driving. I cant get it to move from teh first screen. The software above all I had to do was turn it on before starting the car, then it started monitoring things. I gotta get the tunerstein working though so I can erase check engine light and use it to monitor since I think it monitors more.

unless you know of any other free software out there for a 2G I can use ?
 
the speed I guess seems ok. cause it was in metric units and I put it over to US.

As for the O2 sensor readings, anyone have any ideas?

the throttle sensor read 2 at idle when I go WOT it at 95 then goes 96 im guesing thats %.

I also figured out how to use the software to turn the check engine light off and read the codes it puts out.

I'm starting to get a feel for tunerstain as well.
 
There is a problem with your Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (ECT) or the wiring of it, maybe you changed the temperature gauge sensor instead. Your car never got into close loop because your coolant temperature never reached 160*F, reason why your O2 doesn't cycle and your trims are at 0.
 
I'll check the coolant temp again tomorrow just to make sure. Especially since I changed it from metric to US. The trims (fast/slow or high/low) cant remeber which one it is, dont stay at 0 but I dont think I have seen much over 2 on them.

I havent touched the coolant temp sensor. Perhaps I need to change it.

The guage works in the cluster figured if that works so would the temp sensor. I would think thats where the reading comes from that the guage reads of the sensor and the logger as well. Perhaps not though huh.

I will have to see if I bring the logger up to my room and write the rest on here as well.

I checked this morning after changing the measurements to US vs. metric, coolant temp at 65-70 crusing is at 210. I thought that was actually a bit high.

Trim levels pretty much the same


As for the oxygen sensors, when crusing number 1 goes up and down still 600+, and number 2 will stay low under a 100.

There are times though where number2 is the same as number1, well atleas I saw it the same ones while driving.

do the oxygen sensor reading only mean anything at WOT? IF so, I need to do that versus looking at them while driving or sittign there.
 
Oldman, you need to set something up so people can pay you to come log there car, look it over, and boost leak test it and have you tell them EVERYTHING that's wrong with it. LOL
 
not sure if previous person was talking about my post or not, but no boost leaks. Its been tested over and over for leaks. That was number one on my list, then emissions was removed.
