I was told to look for a 6N on the exhaust valve, i have the head off and i looked but my head says 6C. So any idead what head this is. I looked around the site and i can find anything, will this head fit onto a 6 bolt block and how hard would it be to put a 6bolt block into my 2g

Thanks

All 89-99 4g63 heads are intechangable with the 6 bolt block. If it came from a 7 bolt then the headstud holes will need to be drilled out from 11mm to 12mm to accomodate the larger headstuds on the 6 bolt.

The 6 bolt swap is very common in the 2g turbo cars it requires a couple of different parts which are available in a kit from a few different manufacturers and other than that its a fairly simple swap.

Here's a guide by Mangus http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf

Thanks for the write-up i did find a lil info on the 6 bolt swap,

But i am still seeking to see what head i have, the manifold looks to be a Evo III, in fact this whole motor is supposed to be a evo III, if i posted a engine # would that help me verify if it is evo III or not.
