SO as it is right now I think I may need to have a valve job.
cylindar 3 came back with very low numbers on a compression check.
I assume I need a valve job since there is no oil in my coolant, and no water in my oil.
THe car isnt smoking either, so I guess its not the head gasket.
My question is should I be looking to replace the engine or do a valve job?
I dont know what its going to cost me so I need some input.
if the motor is the way to go, does anyone know a place in my area I can buy from?

I would take the motor apart and see what you need. If the compression #'s are low it could be a bad ring, but usually you will smoke. Dont replace what you dont have too. You could replace just the pistons and the head and dont bother with the rest.

actually I havent changed anything on the car. ITs stock.
Used car though, so who knows what previous owners have done to it.
