Knocking Valves

Hey sometimes i turn on my car after it being sat for a while and it sounds like my valves are knocking. Like if it has low oil and 5 min later its gone. What can this be?

Lifter tick/tap. When your car has been sitting for a while your lifters lose there oil, collapsing in a sense. And it may take a few minuets for them to pump back up with oil. It is a pretty common problem with our cars. Does it only happen if its been sitting for more than a few days? Or on every start up?
