1G What ECU's will work in my car.

Ok guys another question.... what ECUs will fit my car as i want to find another to put in my car so i can send mine away to get socketed and DSMlink put in

I believe that you need to find another 90 ECU. I'm not 100% sure but from what I know, the 91-92.5 ecu is different from the 90. Correct me if i'm wrong guys.
Also, in ANY case that ecu NEEDS to be eprom and I believe the transmission needs to be the same. AWD shouldn't matter and either should brand(IE eclipse or talon).

He is correct. The 90 ECU's are different than any other year on the 1G's. You can find EPROM 90's pretty easily though.

There is a faq about how to swap a 91-92 EPROM into a 90 but I am not for sure where it is now.

You can run either the 145903 or the MD128625. Both are federal turbo 90 ECUs.
You can run a 91-93 turbo ECU as long as you don't mind the tach problems for a while by popping out pins 6 and 14 and swapping them. The instructions on how to pop the pins is in the tech archive.

Sent it for what? If your thinking to have it socketed better email mail them first.

I looked around the internet when I needed this service for a custom E-prom.
Turns out this guy was (is) recommended by the same place where I
bought my chip.

He did a great job for me, very reasonable and timely as well. My only regret
is that I didn’t realize I could leave him feedback here, until now. FWIW, I have
a spare (don’t need it, original works flawlessly now) ECU that needs new
capacitors/socket service, without a doubt he gets the work. It’s better to have
one (spare) and not need it, than need it and not have one.

Yup he can do almost any ecu repair, and socket the ecu for you. He has fixed several ecu's for me, one that i thought was beyond repair. Came back looking brand new. Hit him up on pm or email him thru his site.
