Just installed version 1.3 Maf-t on 92 Tsi in stock location (for now) and all settings are at zero. Instructions say give time for ecu to recalibrate and we drove it all day and it did nothing. Where do we go from here? All replies will be appreciated...

Did you set the one knob for 3" or 3.5"? You could try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and letting it sit for 5 minutes or so. Then reconnect it and take her out for a test drive.

do you have a gm maf sensor on your upper intercooler pipe???
cause i dont see on your profile

Sounds to me like he is using the GM sensor and MAF-T in the stock sensor's location.

You may have to do some tuning with it. Mine needed (and still needs) some change from the expected injector sizing.

And as always, a boost leak test doesn't hurt :)

All the manuals say leave it alone if stock injectors. looks like we'll try to lean it out..its freaky though because all it has is autometer a/f guage to monitorOMG

Then you really have nothing to monitor it with. Don't trust that gauge to tell you if the car is running rich or lean if that's what you've been relying on previously. The only way to know if your settings are good is by using a datalogger to monitor the fuel trims.

I think we'll grab a datalogger tomorrow and see exactly what's up. I don't trust the A/F gauge either. It's like tuning blind, which isn't good at all. :)

I'll post up the results once we get the datalogger hooked up.

Yes. I have been meaning to replace the christmas lights with an EGT and/or a wideband. Those are decent prices really, considering I got quoted something crazy like $600.00 not too long ago. :) Thanks for the links!
