Ok so i've known for some time that the world was melting and science has said a qaudrillion times this world is going to hell ina hand basket and our government won't step up to the bar and be a man about it. But seriously global warming is a BIG problem and recent news has indicated that there is no longer a debate we have indeed fubared the planet...so we can either wait till around 2040 and enjoy 150+ degree summers...or we can prolong the warming for another couple hundred years. (what I hope everyone will chip in and do)

I have a dsm, it's an awd tsi, I don't give a shit anymore how fast it goes or what it sounds like..how cool it looks or w/e I want it to be environmentally friendlier than a fuzzy bunny. If you think thats ### or i'm lame or w/e suck it because your an ignorant fool.

I want to take my 4g63 motor out and mount in some sorta biodiesel application or something, as friendly as that. I need suggestions on what route to take, I'm wiling to ride a bike while i'm waiting for this to be accomplished I will work something out but I'm seriously wanting this done. I have limited funds, in fact i'm in debt but I don't care money doesn't matter when you don't have a world to spend it in.

please post up your best suggestions, motors, tranny compatibilities and probable problems I may encounter.

Your biggest hurdle will be:

I have limited funds,

A project like this will require a good bit of money to accomplish, whether it be hard cash or someone willing to cut you a deal on parts/labor.

Basically you're going to have to "figure" out what's required to mount and engine/tranny combo, control it, and get it to drive the wheels.........sounds simple, right?

Your best bet is to buy an environmentally friendly vehicle in the first place.

Buy a Geo Metro or Civic CX. A GSX is not and will not be a great friend to the environment. You might think about running E85 though. That would help a bit.

For the record, I agree with you 100%, but there's no sense going about it the hard way. Buy something that is already suited to your needs.

And the added pitch - if you're truly worried about the environment you should know that the difference between eating meat and not is FAR greater than what kind of car you drive or even whether you drive. You can make a much bigger difference with diet and keep your eclipse without feeling too guilty. :)

1.) No, it's not a serious question.
2.) You could go out and find all the Freon, CO2, cadmium batteries, and whatever other environmental boogieman-of-the-week bullshit the News Business is selling, and not affect ANYTHING.
3.) Want to help? Scrap your car and walk. See if it makes the slightest damned difference.

Man cannot affect the planet. He doesn't even have a clue how it works. He has even less clue why his ego would make him think he's so almighty important.

Closed for Just Plain Stupid. See if you can get someone else to re-open it for you. Good luck.
