My car wont start i checked the fuses they were fine, I then thought it was the starter solenoid, so i brought it into schucks and it checked out. So does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? thanks -Chad

You need to fill in your profile . You gave no info on vehicle . Year , type , mods , recent work .

Your going to need a buddy to help you on this one. On the starter there is a small wire that is plugged in. This is the igniter wire for the starter. Take a volt meter and unplug the wire then have your friend hit the key and hold it for a couple of seconds. You should see close to battery voltage. If not recheck your fuses. Also check the voltage on the big wire from the battery. I had a vehicle come in for a no start one time and couldnt figure it out. All connections had the right voltage but when you hit the key the main feed wire from the battery had a short in it and wasnt sending enough voltage to the starter. You need to make sure you are getting power down to it first. Keep us posted Travis
