ugh problems with my boost gauge..t fitting

Firsts of all, I did a bad mistake on purchasing a used boost gauge from a member Parts were missing on the package so wwhat iv been doing these past days is finding pieces from home depot to set up my gauge propertly. My questions is, i cant seem to find the right size T fitting to fit the hoses for my gauge and the hoses (intake manifold) were im suppose to tap it! http://www.plymouthlaser.com/pod2.htm This is what im using

Another question, when you guys purchase your gauge, what ,materials came with it? pics will help too

I'm about to call it quits and purchase another boost gauge from autometer, maybe a package that comes with a dual pillar

The 'P' outlet on the throttle body on the intake manifold (easiest)

Materials my autometer came with were the plastic tee, a rubber adapter thingy so that the small tubing from the gauge could fit the tee, and some brass fittings to attatch the small tubing to the back of the gauge. That's about it.

I'm missing the 'T'
that is what is stopping me.. And i cant find the right size in any home depot...ugh

Good thing about vacuum lines is that they are rubber. Unless that tee is insanely large you probably can make it work. That said, just go to your local autoparts store and pick up an assortment of Tees for about 3 bucks. Surely one of them will work properly. Then you will have a collection for either back up, or any other project you take on that requires tapping a source of vacuum.

As for the nylon hose(assuming this is what you're working with) put about a 2" piece of vacuum hose on the end of the tee, and slide the nylon line into that rubber hose. Put 2 or 3 zip ties around it though to secure it, and keep it secured under boost pressure.

Another good idea would be to just eliminate that nylon hose(again, assuming that's what you're using) by purchasing the correct size barb fitting from the plumbing section of Home Depot or Lowes. The nylon hose tends to kink easily, causing false readings.
