Starting problem

MOds in profile, I have trouble starting my car, it will turn turn turn and nothing, but if i try again it will usually pop over. Its running about 14.7-1 at idle and the fuel pressure comes up with key on, what could this be?

My 1g did the same thing a while back. Check the ECU (leaking caps) and MPI relay. It should click when you turn the key to the on position and again when you turn it off. I have one Ill send you if you cover shipping costs. I have about 5 of them. If not check the ground to the ECU also.

Do this and also check to see if your boost gauge moves up when the key is in ON. Next make sure you have good spark, and you said you have fuel right? for the engine to start it needs 3 things, FUEL, SPARK, And COMPRESSION, so a compression test would be next.

Compression 163 all four spark perfect fuel pressure perfect boost gauge (stocker) shoots up to 14 with key on then drops to 0.

stock boost gauge is useless, get an aftermarket one...

...I have an aftermarket. Some1 asked what the stock gauge read. The computer sees 7psi while trying to crank.

one more thing my starter is beggining to go bad, the bendix sometimes dosent throw out, could the starter be the problem? Not turning enough rpm for spark? Thanks

OK now it dosent want to start at all! I turn the key and hear the fuel pump going, you can hear the starter pop out but nothing happens. HELP ###!!!
