I just purchased a new set of Tein Basic Coilovers for my 98 Es-i. I paid only $420 and they are new in the box. I have heard people bashing them but I think it is because of the price. Should I try to sell these and get some Koni's? I was originally looking at some KYB GR-2's with the eibach pro-kit springs until I came across this deal. Let me know what you think.

You already have them, and it's not like your going to be hard core autoX'ing .. so they're going to work fine.

You probably would lose 50 or more if you tried to sell them, and then you would end up spending more on another set. You don't have to worry about having a race worthy suspension.

You have them, so keep em, unless you come across an even better deal on another set of springs that you want

Just picked them up off a friend that needed the money in a bad way. He paid over 800 new.

Do some research on if coilovers are for you or not, how people like them, and how long they last.

If you sold those Teins you would have to spend about $400 (maybe more after shipping) for the Eibach and the KYB's. The GR-2 are not adjustable in that makes any difference to you.

$450 is not a bad price, and like the other guys said- just install them, you'll probably like it.
