I got my xs power/ss autochrome FMIC Kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DSM-...emQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ015QQitemZ250055358724) via fedex today. But my piping looks different than the pictures on the auction. If anyone has had this kit could you post pics or a description of the piping you received, I would really appreciate it. The only piece I have that looks different than the pic is the 90 degree bend it is about 11-10 inches long if it was straightend out. The one on the auction looks like it would be 2 - 2.5 feet long. Thanks guys.

Yeah I have the kit and your right the big L-pipe is different all the other pipes are exact. the Lpipe that i have is a 2.5-2 inch reducing L pipe that for people who have a down facing turbo. The 2inch side mates up to the turbo outlet then turns to the first pipe that connects to the intercooler inlet. Im not using mines so ill see if I can take a pic later.but its bolts up fine.i used a factory intake hose to make that turn instead of that reducing L pipe. Great kit by the way!!

XS Power ans SS Autochrome is the same company?? The reason I ask is because I've heard less than favorable thing's about SS Autochrome product's. My friend actually sent back a turbo from them because it was so cheeply made. They claimed it was a Garret T3/T4 ...if you read the fineprint it says "T3/T4 style". It actually had Made In China stamped on the side of it.
I have a XS Power header for my car, purchased directly from XS Powers site, but it seems really nice for the most part. Pretty heavy duty flanges and welded very nice.
Hmmm...reading the e-bay ad, it says no returns. But it also does not state that the pic is different from what you will get...so I would see if they sent you the wrong kit, or try to tell them that the picture on there site is not the product you received. I believe that they legaly have to post it if the picture is not a picture of the actual product or it can be considered false advertising.
I'm sure a wiseman can chime in with a better answer than mine though :thumb:

Yes they are the same company. I would not put one of their turbo's or one of their manifolds on any of my vehicles. On the other hand their fmic kits seem to be pretty decent but only time will tell. I have first hand experience with their kits as a good friend of mine does their ebay sales. I have also owned a header for my old nissan spec v and have helped in the fitment of their exhaust for the spec v as well as their new 4-1 header and midpipe combo for the spec v. This is just my opinion on their products and others may have different opinions.

I just purchased the 2 gen kit and i did take pics of it here they are hope its helpful.
thats all that came in the kit. It is missing one coupler and 2 clamps but for the price it was a bargin!!

the 90* bent pipe that would hook up to the turbo is useless... well when i put the kit on my car anyways i used the jpipe and a 90* coupler and an extended piece of piping from the charge pipe to the 90* coupler... :) enjoy

and that TB elbow pieces is a pain in the ass to tight all the bolts/nuts... the one bottom front(closet to the fuel rail) is hard as shit to tighten..

Thank you for the pics and help. Looks like we all have the same kit and same problem with missing a coupler and 2 clamps. Still looks great!

What about you 2g drivers that installed this kit on the stock T25? How did you make the piping fit?

Before I got too cut happy, Would a 90* coupling from the compressor outlet support the pressure?

Funny you mentioned T25 my hahn 20g took a dump so i had to cut the elbow off the t25 and i made it a down facing turbo LOL works great with the setup. i cut like 3 inches off the tip and rewelded so i can still have a flange at the end for the pipe to hold on to.
