need some help?

the chk engine light comes on sometimes, and more likely on 1st 15 mins of driving between 2300 and 3500 rpm under any kind of accelaration. the light will go off as soon as i let off the gas, i have dsmlink and when i check dtc's nothing comes up.
when the light comes on, theres a very noticable diff in car's performance, like bogging out/ fluttering.
any suggestions on what this can be ???
shoot me questions if ive left out any key info on finding out this problem

also, the light comes on n off if i hit the gas at idle

The ECU stores error codes for a reason. Read them out to find what's wrong.

Sounds like knock to me, and more realistically phantom knock. I have dsmlink set to throw the cel over 3 counts. I use to get knock at part throttle just cruising for no reason I set it to ignore all knock under 40% throttle and th issue went away completely. Click the knock drop down box and try setting the "and tps above" to 40%.

Also check your knock sensor, make sure it hasn't leaked any goo. If it has replace it.

its not my knock sensor.

the code wouldnt come up on my laptop, so i found some one w/ a logger and it only comes up on the logger as a ( common ecu error ) what can that mean ???
also i noticed when the chk engine light comes on, its like the rpm's will get stuck, Ill accelarate more n more n it will stay at the rpm at which the light came on

any suggestions ??

Pull the ECU and check for leaking caps or swap it with a known working ECU from a friend's car to rule that out.

And please don't bump your threads. As a proven member you should know that's against the rules.
