Heres my story, I used to run on a 20g with cams until my engine blew, because of a bad engine rebuild. I no longer have the cams or the 20g instead im on the little 14b turbo. I like the little thing but it is nowhere close to the feeling when that 20g would kick in.

Now my choices are picking up a Big16g turbo of off Fp for 429$ or going back with a 20g. Thing is I dont want to spend 400$ and be disapointed by the results of a 16g. My lil 14b has gotten me trap speeds of 107 miles an hour with 20psi.

Is the big 16g comparable to the 20g?
Or is the 20g in its own category?
What kind of improvements would I be looking at for trap speed in both turbos?

I basically want something I can run everyday and on a stock engine that can bolt up to my current setup. I have all necessary mods to run both turbos, so yeh give me your opinions :)
 
EVO 3 16g without a doubt. 44lbs/min of flow and better spool than the 20g. I had a Big 16g ported and clipped and didn't like it.
 
To tell you the truth I'm running the Evo 16g and I 'm happy with it. I also plan on upgrading to a 20g in the furture, however money runs tight. So I bought the 16g. You can buy the 16g and still buy cams for the price of a 20g. Its all up to you. Also you have to account for tuning and what type of mods and fuel you have to run either turbo. Just depends on what you want to go with.
 
def gonna go with the 16g, very similar performance with a little better spool time, but alot lighter on the wallet
 
I was reading around and found that a PTE 50 trim would also fit into what im looking for, basically somethin strong like a 20g or stronger and bolts right on the manifold.
