Check out the Oil return line.Do u guys think that can cause the oil to not drain properly and backup all the way to where the oil starts spilling out of the turbine side causing my car to smoke?
I just rebuilt the engine and i ran it for a couple of minutes and did not smoke then i started up the next day and i started smoking some so what i was thinking is that maybe in the fist start up the oil started accumulating till it got all the way to the tip of the turbo.

Does it smoke only at idle? What about during deceleration and between shifts, or when you're at WOT.

FWIW, if the diagram is how your return line is plumbed, it looks like you could have oil pool at the bottom of that line before it goes into the oil pan. You want a direct path to the oil pan so gravity works for you. The less curve in the line, the better.

It is very possible that could be causing your problems. If it's a braided fitting setup, simply remove about 1/2" at a time until you get it to not bend like that.

Smoking could also be caused by bad seals. If its a bigger turbo, make sure it gets no more than 50 psi.

Thanks for your replys. I went ahead and fixed the line but it was still smoking when i was in idle or stoping in a red light but after driving it for about 12 miles i got home and the smoking stoped so i cheked the oil level and it was a lil lower then the full dot. so i think the smoking stoped.
