I need Info about "SpeedIndex" eBay FMIC Kits

Hello, it should be pretty easy to tell that I am here on behalf of my friend. Who by the way is too hard headed to actually do any research himself before buying things. But anyway my friend is hell bent on buying this FMIC kit off of eBay. Before everyone lays into me about how it has been covered a million times, please give me references if it has. I have been searching this forum for about 3 hours without finding any information about this kit. Give me some credit I am new to this forum but not new to the way forums work.

Anyways the Kit includes a FMIC that looks not too terrible by eBay standards, a BOV that I know is probably trash, and all the charge piping. My main concern with this kit is if this piping is going to actually even pretend to line up like it is supposed to. Even if no one here has had experience with this kit maybe someone would recognize the layout that the pipes are supposed to go in. And also how much modification would be required to the front of the car for this intercooler to actually mount up. The car he has is a 96 GSX with an automatic transmission. He is under the impression that since it says in the auction that it is a bolt on kit that he can just bolt it on his car and go on his merry way. I am just trying to do my best to enlighten him but since I know very little about Eclipses I figured that I would turn to the experts. Thank you in advance for your help.

A nice long thread about ebay fmic, it will tell you quite a bit, including which kits to avoid and which ones to buy.

Yeah, I had read both of those threads already, neither of them had any info about that particular kit, which is what I am concerned about not the actual intercooler. I do appreciate the info though.

I'm gonna bid on one of their fmic kits for the eclipse. Although I find it weird that it doesn't specify 2g or 1g. I think they are new to Ebay cause I don't think I've ever seen them on there before. ...here goes nothing! I'll post the results once I'm done installing..it even has a 3 year warranty. Not many of these Ebay stores offer that, but a 7-30 day one.
