So i got a translator on ebay and neglected to notice it was the buick one and not the dsm one, ive done my research and concluded i can solder in the 4 missing wires because the spots are there on the circut board for me to do so, but my question being has anyone done this? The wires i have, from left to right are Pink, black, yellow, green, black, pink. im missing the Blue and brown at the beginning before the first pink and the last two, white and grey. if i soldered in my own wires, would this work? i dont see why it wouldnt? ive looked at pictures of the dsm translator and everything down to the resistors match up, except my missing wires. any info or pointing in a right direction would be much appreciated!
