dsm performance schools?

so i don'tknow if this is not alouwd or not..But im looking to get out of what im doing for a living and trying to go back to school and learn a little bit more about are car's and stuff.if any one know's any good school's on tuning dsmlink aem, engine building,and just a little more in general of everything... Id appreciate it sorry moderator's if this is illegal

Wyotech is a good start. I almost went there but changed my mind at the last minute (not because it's a bad school but because I want to do something different with my life).

I might go there or UTI i dontknow yet. UTI has a great dealership specific program though. Wyotech is more custom fabrication kinda school.

A buddy of mine went to UTI in texas...if your looking for performance tuning on ### imports, thats not really the school...He said they mostly worked on domestics and german cars... If your looking for career their good, 1 month after graduating he got placed at hollman jaguar and make good money and its only his 1st year their..

well what i learned when choosing schools is that Uti is a corp. which intern means someone who might not know about cars is telling the teachers what to teach. not saying you wont learn anything there but hey you never know. my buddies go to ohio tech which is a privately owned tech school and theyre loving it. it is in cleveland and around that around is slick motorsports which does alot of dsm's and buschur racing. you could learn a thing or two from them i bet. just giving you another alternative.

I went to UTI in Phoenix, AZ. If you're planning on working in a dealership then I would reccomend it. If you're looking into custom work, fabrication, and performance I'd check out Wyotech. As far as engine building the most we did when I went there was balanced/blueprinted 350's and got to dyno them.
