I have heard conflicting things about this...some places say they cant be serviced seperatly, yet many places sell the bearing seperate, which is what im stuck with...
has anyone seperated a hub and reused it with a new bearing?
This is a rear bearing/hub from a 2g awd..
Thanks

Im pretty sure most wheel bearings are pressed in.

Find yourself a press and press out the old and press in the new.

Oh and the reason they sell the bearing already installed is for ease of install for you ie. not having to find a press.

Just buy a rear hub with bearing already in. Its a TON easier and alot faster. Just beat old hub out, put new one in and voala.

1g's are separated for maintenance... 2g's aren't. Get a new/ used/ different hub.
