Being on a budget I had to get the knock-off SSQV now it wont blow off. I had one of my friends drive the car and I sounds like its just leaking out air the whole time. I played with the adjustment screw but it did nothing. I read posts talking about checking the vaccume line and that is set up fine. As I said I don't think its the vaccume I think its just leaking air out but the car does hold the 15lbs of boost. Any ideas?

I was going to say check the vacuum line, sometimes my wheel hop would loosen the line and then I would have the same problem, but I had a real HKS

I would run a boost leak test, if you charge the system with 10 or so pounds of boost
if it is leaking you will know.
their are several good write ups on how to make a homemade boost leak tester on here and DSMtalk.com. and it cost less than 20 bucks. and you really need one if you plan on keeping a turbo car, you will need it eventually.

Check for boost leaks. The adjustment screw is said to not really make that much of a difference. You notice the authentic HKS SSQVs now don't even have it.

Here is a reallly good informative thread on HKS SSQV Bovs, also will shows some testimonials about how the knockoff works great.
