ok so im building up my motor and i just got the head back from the machine shop ,i installed my new valves ,valve seals ,primed the lifters than dranded them and made shure that thay whould compress easy and put my new rollers on . so my question is i have new hks cams and i went to put the intake side in and the lobes compress on a cupple of the valves ,now i dont have the head on the block yet so whould it be better to put the cams in whin i have it on the block or will it be ok if i tork them on while its off the block im just worryed that it pushes on the valves far enuff pushing them down and causing the head to rest on a cupple valves and im putting them in with the dowel facing up i just wanted to get the head all done so i could just bolt it to the block
