I've searched but came up empty handed........

Does anyone have an idea on the actual degree of clipping, done to the TD06H Turbine wheel fitted in the FP Red ?

Or maybe the degree of clipping to the FP Green, to estimate it for the FP Red.......

Since FP doesn't release information about there compressor and exhaust wheels your best bet will be to email them and ask but good luck. They are very hush hush about those turbo's.

I know......which is why I was hoping someone on here with those Turbo's had them rebuilt/checked out and got told the amount of clipping done by FP

What makes you think they are clipped?

Given the tremendous variety of turbine wheels available these days, there really isn't much reason to clip them.

It's not like it was in the late 90's when there wasn't a lot to choose from so people clipped turbine wheels to improve top end flow.

Today you can choose from Mitsu, Garrett, and some well made hybrids.

Not on a fp red or green. They only come with the tdo6 wheel. Change that and it will just be another generic t3/4 turbo.

Your right, but it would be a Mitsu turbine housing.

I don't know about the Green, but the Red is a TD06h wheel and available with a 7cm or 8cm turbine housing.

W T F is a Red?
The Red model, much like it's little Green brother, is a Mitsu/Garrett hybrid. The Red combines a modified TD06 compressor housing and 8cm2 turbine housing with a clipped TD06H turbine wheel and a big ass Garrett compressor wheel. Don't ask us what it is, we won't tell you.

They don't state the FP Green having a clipped TD06H Turbine so I guess it doesn't........

Now, that everyone's one the same page ........anyone with details on the amount of clipping done to the FP Red Turbine wheel ?
