Boost issue... (5psi drop)

ok about 5-6 months ago all of a sudden i noticed on my boost gauge that it wasnt hitting 15-16psi anymore. ive just been driving it soft since then, but work and RL bs has kept me from checking this issue out.. what could it be?

right now i have a holloed cat, stock rustyass downpipe and a 3" theral R&D catback.
i have a highflow cat and downpipe to be put opn, just havnt had the chance yet.

i am noticing a weird rubbing/horn lick sound every now and then as well under boost. not all the time, just every now and then.

B L T = boost leak test (not a bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich...although I'll agree, that does sound good), and yes there are plenty of write ups about it.

Not once you get familiar with it. It becomes easier than changing your oil. Speaking of which, I try to do a boost leak check at every oil change, and I recommend that to everyone. Maintaining is easier than fixing.
