So, when I start my car cold, the oil pressure shoots up to about 95 psi (at about 1800 RPM due to a bad ISC) But when the car warms up (the idle goes down to between 850-1000RPM) the oil pressure is about 12ish psi and the idiot light flickers on (brand new sensor). Now I'm on the understanding that oil pressure on a 6 bolt with the b/s removed at idle should be about 25ish. But the wierd part is, I have PLENTY of oil pressure while driving. At 2500RPM I have about 50 psi on the mechanical gauge, and the stock gauge, the needle is rock solid on the second line.
Im just curious as to what could cause the oil pressure to be so low at idle? (im not concerned b/c 12ish psi is enough for idle) could it be because of my stainless oil line off the filter housing? (its a -4AN fitting) should I get a restricter?

Thanks!

Mine hovers around the 20psi range or just a bit lower. Alot of it depends on where your idle is set at. Mine idles at 800rpm and my 20psi oil pressure warning light stays almost constantly lit after the car comes up to temp. Before that or if I raise the idle to 1000 it sits right about 25 psi.

so do you think I should be concerened? Or do you think is probably just the aftermarket oil feed line for the turbo?

Here is a pic of the stock compaired to the one I have on now (right is stock)

Thanks
