Okay! Ive been using MMCd for some time now and am getting tired of reviewing logs in B&W! :notgood: So here is my probloem: I can get the logfiles to backup when i hotsync but they come across as *.pdb files!?!?! When i attempt to open them in excel or csview its just a bunch of garbly gook! I though the data was supposed to be stored in CSV format? Im obvously doing something wrong here - please help!

PS: Im using ver 1.8g

Do you have MMCd Tools installed on your computer? That's the program that will export the files from your palm to the PC in .csv or .xls format. :thumb: You can get it here:
http://mmcdtools.sourceforge.net/

Without this, when you hotsync you're just backing-up the files in the Palm desktop file-type.

Hehe! Thanks for the quick reply. Ive been searching the last 2 days for this answer! All this time it was right under my nose. Thanks again!

It will work perfectly if you the tool that Gromit is talking about. I used it for about a year and it converted logs perfectly into both formats. Excel is the best for viewing them, it makes the information a lot more organized.
