Well i have had my car for about 6 months and my i dont know exactly what it is and want some insight first before i go buying stuff. First of all, it engages at the floor so that needs to be adjusted...don't know how to do it(if someone could direct me to a thread showing it or tell me how). My second problem is that after drving for a while it will get really hard to shift. Maybe its not completely engaging since the pedal has to be in the floor giving it that problem. Also after a while when i press the clutch all the way down it will sort of jump or pop...not the trans but the pedal. I dont know if this might all be fixed with one thing but any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way i think its a stock chutch/transmission.

I used to have a 90 gst and now my cousin owns the car, from the time I bought it to now the clutch has always been on the floor. I put a new clutch in it and all and it still sits right on the floor.

You should be about 4-5 inch's off the floor with the pedal before it starts to engage. Replacing the clutch does not change this. Most likely you are not fully engaging the clutch and this is causing your problems. Now where you put the fluid in for the hydrolic clutch line is called the clutch master cylinder. This has a rod that goes through the fire wall into the interior connecting to the top of the clutch pedal. You want to adjust this rod out towards the master cylinder so the rod engages more into the master cylinder. Buy a manual it will show you what to do.

i think there might be something wrong with the shifter as well but ive never looked into nor do i know how to fix it LOL

I have a 1990 AWD Talon and when i bought the car it was hard to shift and the clutch did not engage until it touched the floor well after i finally replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch line, master and slave cylinder and none of that fixed the problem i got to looking around at the pedal assembly under the dash and as it turned out it was the lever that slips onto the rod connected to the pedal, that little lever that pushes the rod on the master cylinder was worn out replaced the lever and everything was fine

ya i just got around to working on it this weekend. I ended up searching on here and after about an hour i found a picture of what rod to adjust. I didnt know if it was the adjustment in front of the pedal or the one behind the pedal. Everything engages/disengages a lot better but now i still have a problem with the shifter.
